Physical Education Curriculum

 

The physical education curriculum is designed to have the students recognized their own individual capacities.  The curriculum gives each student the opportunity to develop physically, socially, emotionally, and intellectually through learning experiences in a variety of physical activities that can be carried over as life-time skills.

 

The physical education curriculum is based on an elective system which is open to all students.  Emphasis is on promoting personal fitness awareness.  The curriculum is called F.I.T. (Fitness, Individual Sport, and Team Sport).  Each student is required to take a fitness course, and individual sport, and a team sport from the elective list of activities each semester.
